Kevin Jones & Doyle Wood
The last time Kevin Jones and Doyle Wood appeared on the Ott & Hunter stage, the room was electric—feet tapping, hearts lifted, and the audience on their feet. Now, they return for another unforgettable evening of music, friendship, and spontaneity.
Kevin Jones, the soulful voice and multi-instrumentalist behind 3 Track Mind, reunites with longtime collaborator Doyle Wood, whose mandolin playing is as intuitive as it is mesmerizing. Together, they weave a rich tapestry of originals and inspired covers, blending precision with playfulness, and heart with craft.
With nearly three decades of shared musical history—from intimate duo sets to the full-bodied sound of the Kevin Jones Band—these two artists know how to move with the moment. No two shows are ever the same, and that’s just how they like it. Their motto says it all: “Fun, Not Work.”
Seattle Weekly called Kevin “Seattle’s version of Jackson Browne” upon the release of Hester St. Influences are: Ry Cooder, David Lindley, Jackson Browne, Motown, Beatles, Tom Petty, David Byrne (Heads Heads), Little Feat, and much more. Kevin has shared venues and opened shows at Zoo Tunes, Triple Door and other venues with Marc Cohn, Laura Love, Michael Tomlinson, Catie Curtis, Bruce Cockburn, Little Feat, along with many Northwest based performers.
Kevin has released 2 solo full production CD’s “Hester St” (out of print, but available online) and “Winter Moon” which will be available at the show. Winter moon was produced at Kevin’s private studio and mastered by Paul Speer (producer of both 3 Track Mind CD’s)
