Our red lineup is well balanced, ranging from light to heavy body, low to high tannin, and fruit forward to more classic old-world flavors. Inspired by the wine-making traditions of the Rhone Valley, we use minimal oak influence and aim to create wines that offer both fruit and earthy characteristics. We have partnerships with the great Rhone-grape growers in Washington state, and our winemaking style aims to deliver specific vineyard characteristics.
With brilliant light hues, this delicious blend offers vibrancy, purity, charm and versatility. A brightly banded agate on the beach, winter or summer.

40% Merlot | 30% Cabernet Franc | 30% Malbec
Coming in at 63% Malbec and 37% Cabernet Franc, Arctodus utilizes dark fruit and ample acidity from the Malbec while the Cab Franc brings a red berry fruit and pyrazine. This wine continues to develop upon being poured so feel free to savor the isps. We will not have a single varietal vintage of Malbec for 2023, as it all went into Arctodus. Paired with the Cab Franc, this wine is charmingly complex and keeps your senses enlivened!

YES! A love story. Okay, let's say a bit more. Cabernet Sauvignon from 1987 vines at Conner Lee Vineyard and Merlot from Robin Pollard. These barrels were wanting to be left alone, bottled independently and allowed to showcase their individuality front and center as solo stage performers. But deep deep down, they loved each other. And while they had separate forays in the glass, in the woods, at the table - they could not remain apart. There is a ying and yang to this vintage of Intrepide, endless vibrating activity bound by a profound simpleness that will put the drinker in ponderance and encourage reminiscence about past lives and all the possible paths.
100% Whole cluster fermentation using Clone 383. The second vintage of our Stoneridge syrah had significant stem influence, which added to the earthiness & tannic structure. A full dark fruited syrah followed on the back end with lingering nutmeg & spice.
A vivacious young syrah, with abundant flavors of red fruit, green olives, cinnamon, nutmeg and coconut. 100% whole cluster fermentation. Aged for 22 months in neutral oak 225 liter barrels.
This is our first vintage working with this particular syrah block and will be our main boushey syrah block henceforth! This has all the flavors you want in a syrah red and blue fruits, olives, brine, with a refined, slightly sandy texture. We dialed back the whole cluster inclusion to around 50% this vintage which still offers that critical stem component. 70 cases produced.
Three barrels of syrah from two different blocks at Boushey Vineyard and one block at Stoneridge vineyard. 75% whole cluster fermentation. A round, yet structured wine with each different syrah component adding to a complex red and purple fruit profile.
100% Syrah blending fruit from Noble Rock Vineyard in the Rocks District and Boushey Vineyard. The Noble Rock component was fermented 100% whole cluster while the Boushey syrah was destemmed. The French barrels were eight and ten years old. These syrahs were quite different from each other, great alone but better together. L'Entente aims to show the balance of Washington syrah by bringing together variation and differences between vineyard sites and clone selection.
Coming in at 60% Syrah and 40% Petite Sirah this Woolly is not extinct, it is evolving! The Petite Sirah component fermented 100% whole cluster and quite honestly was so tannic your tongue, teeth and cheecks became one. We tapped into a few barrels of syrah which brought gulps of smoothness and here we are folks, a totally irresistible Woolly of a wine: heft, furriness, and deep dark fruits. Petite Sirah - Red Mountain, Heart of the Hill Vineyard / Syrah - Boushey Vineyard
Carbonic maceration, fermentation and extended maceration on skins in egg vessel for four months then pressed into neutral oak for two months before bottling.
100% Cinsault - Boushey Vineyard
Our Conley Vineyard Tempranillo is back and purer than ever. Conley is a certified organic vineyard west of Yakima, where temps stay a bit cooler than further down the Yakima Valley. An extremely well balanced wine characterized by firm acids and tannins. This wine is not about smoothness with a focus more on tight structure, smoky incense flavors and dark cherries.
