Nick Mardon Trio - 8 PM Show
With spring just around the corner, it’s time to shake off the winter chill and turn up the volume—-The Nick Mardon Trio is back for a two‑show blowout in Ott & Hunter’s intimate cabaret room. Get out, plug in, and get ready to rock.
Known for their consistently sold-out performances at Ott & Hunter, the Trio has been part of Whidbey Island’s music fabric since 2017—appearing everywhere from private gatherings and the Bayview Street Dance to festival stages like Little Big Fest. With limited seating in this intimate listening-room setting, these shows are always in high demand. Tickets are $30 per person, and reservations are strongly encouraged.
Led by guitarist and vocalist Nick Mardon—widely recognized as “the hardest working musician in Seattle”—the Trio delivers fiery, high-energy performances that fuse the soul of ’60s and ’70s blues-rock power trios with the grit of Seattle’s ’90s alternative scene. Featuring Nate Sharp on bass and Andy Emery on drums, the band commands the room with tight chemistry, virtuosity, and raw, dynamic energy.
Nick has performed nearly a thousand shows, lighting up venues such as the Moore Theatre, Highway 99 Blues Club, Tulalip Casino, and Everett Historic Theatre, along with stages in Alaska, Las Vegas, Memphis, and New York. His expressive guitar work—often showcasing Hendrix-inspired theatrics—is matched by soulful vocals and a natural ability to connect deeply with audiences.
The Trio’s setlist spans 200+ songs, blending Nick’s original material with timeless selections from Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Sublime, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Al Green, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, and more. Each Ott & Hunter performance offers a one-of-a-kind, up-close experience that keeps fans coming back show after show.
Don’t miss this chance to catch one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier live acts in one of Whidbey Island’s most intimate venues.
